A survey seeking views about problematic aspects of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) and the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) was sent out in mid-December and went to all agencies covered by the statutes and to interest groups and the media. Questions on the Acts were also available on 'TalkOfficialInformation'.  A summary of survey responses is now available to view and indicates aspects that respondents found most problematic including areas requiring further investigation. NB: It does not reflect the Commission's views in any way nor include all topics that will be covered by the review.
